Welcome to Babette, a company founded by Amy Newton-Ernst.  I am a mom of three teen boys, and have been inspired to start a new chapter in my own life by launching Babette, a baby textile business.

I have always been a lover of textiles and travel, drawn to functional and beautiful pieces. I set out to create a baby textile company that focuses on buying fewer, higher quality items. I believe in the power of investing in items that are not only useful and well-made, but beautiful with a touch of whimsy and joy.

As the founder of Babette, I am dedicated to creating a more thoughtful and sustainable future for our little ones. From mix and match essentials to coordinating gift bundles, Babette's products are made with care and attention to detail. Babette is working with factories with sustainable manufacturing practices and commitment to quality and has a goal of working with artisans in developing countries to manufacture our nursery decor, supporting these communities through fair trade wages.

Launching Babette is about more than just creating a successful business. It's about setting an example for my children and showing them that it's never too late to follow your passions and take a risk.
